Bri Firsten
Owner/Stylist
Co-Owner Bri loves horror movies & all things spooky. She collects vinyl records, old books & antique treasures ranging in variety from super cute to dark & curious. She graduated on the Dean’s list from Paul Mitchell the School Michigan & lead product education for the school in 2012. There she was able to have hands on classes with some of the industries most iconic artists such as Vivienne MacKinder, Jason Reyes & Stephanie Kolcielski. She continued her education with TIGI in NYC with US Creative Director Thomas Osborn & many others. She is currently in charge of all education & hair science at The Gold Room. Bri specializes in vivd colors, blonding, long healthy hair, & color corrections.
Erika Cyr
Owner/Stylist
Co-Owner Erika grew up riding horses & loves to travel warm sunny places. She’s incredible in the kitchen & loves cooking big yummy meals for others. She began her career at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing where she went on to win 1st place in the national Beacon competition for her makeup artistry. For the last 8 years she has been a stylist behind the chair in the Royal Oak area. Erika specializes in men’s barbering, short hair cutting techniques & makeup. In 2016 she attended the TIGI Academy in New York City & completed the transitions cutting/coloring course & has kept up with other education courses through the span of her career.
Nicole Setelia
Stylist
Stylist Nicole has had a love for the beauty industry as long as she can remember. She is an avid animal lover & is incredibly passionate about helping fight for their quality of life as well as the humans who love them. She started her career in 2016 at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Royal Oak. She believes in continuing education & strives to stay at the forefront of the ever growing industry with the latest techniques & product knowledge. Her dedication to providing excellent service to her clients by listening, recognizing their needs & teaching them how to create salon style at home are her greatest attributes as a stylist. Nicole specializes in rich color, blonding services, styling/updos & precision cuts on men & women.
Jacquelyn Machelle
Stylist
Stylist Jaquelyn is a creative in all parts of her life. She creates incredible handmade insect taxidermy pieces using organic materials & immaculately preserved beauty. She collects autographed horror memorabilia & has 66 plant in her historic Detroit home. She began her career at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor. She is TIGI educated & favors hands on precision cutting classes. Bridal hair & elegant updos are on of her biggest passions; she’s a master of on site bridal parties & photoshoot styling. Jacquelyn specializes in Updos/Bridal styling, precision haircuts, pixie haircuts, tape-in extensions & balayage/hand painting techniques.
